Apps 2000. Dormant. Diploid. Rebloomer. In typical Apps hybridizing fashion, this is a daylily with great branching and lots of 4″, trumpet shaped blooms on long scapes. By year three, 60 to 80 buds should not be a surprise. 34″ tall. A late bloomer. It’s a vigorous grower that will surprise you even by just year two. We have specimen plants on the right just inside the Daylily Display Garden off our parking area, and there’s a row in front of the line of lilacs that border Route 2 adjacent to the daylily propagation plot near the Hosta Display Garden. Worth a look to confirm how vigorous a daylily they are.
