Hosta Piedmont Gold
Henry Payne, Piedmont Gardens 1982. A medium-large hosta, starts out lime green, then bright gold, heart-shaped leaves, prominent veins, good texture, upright growth form. 28-30″ tall pale lavender scapes. Eunice Fisher Award winner. We grow one of its sports…a special hosta named ‘Satisfaction’, and also a PG seedling, Rick Sawyer’s (Fernwood, Montville, Maine) ‘Jimmy Crack Corn’. Tell me you don’t love all of them!
