Anderson 1990. 38″-42″ tall scapes. 4.5″ dark, rosy-red blooms with a very slight white edge and green throat. As these mature, they provide a large scape count and some of the scapes bend outward making the overall plant look even bigger. Dormant foliage type. Diploid. Mid-season to late season bloomer. Good plant to incorporate in a hillside planting because they mature to be so large and take up more space.
