Hosta Tootie Mae
Hosta Tootie Mae was introduced in 2006 by Alan Bearden. It has not been registered with the American Hosta Society, https://www.americanhostasociety.org. It is a Tokudama flavocircinalis sport. It’s a medium sized hosta, with thick blue-green leaves and a clear golden-yellow edge. The 20″ scapes produce near white flowers. The picture included here was taken from the west side of our hosta display garden. The hosta would be slightly darker in color if I moved it out of the sun a little more than where it is currently planted. We have grown this variety for four years and it continues to be very popular.
