Fumio Maekawa/AHS 1987. Blue-green leaves with gold edge. Well puckered, heavy texture. Near white flowers on 24″ scapes in late June into mid-July.  Handles high shade. Truly a classic! Not the fastest grower but one that always grabs attention. Works well with some Lady’s Mantle and mixed color hellebores close by.
