Hosta Seducer
Hosta Seducer was registered in 2004 by hybridizer Stuart Asch of Clawson, Michigan, of the Detroit metro area. Walters Garden has had the plant in production and that’s where we bought ours from. The plant will grow to 2 feet tall and 3 feet wide over time with leaf centers of dark green and spikes of light green working into the wider band of gold that makes the leaf edge. The 35″ tall scapes offer up light lavender blooms. The picture we are using is from Walters Gardens library of pictures offered for use to wholesalers. You can see from the picture how well it would look planted with hellebores in various colors for when they both hit their leaf prime in mid-June. Vermont hardy.
