Hosta Sea Drift

Mildred Seaver, 1978. A ‘Green Piecrust’ seedling. Shiny, dark green, heart-shaped leaves with pie-crusted edges and prominent veins. 32-36″ tall scapes with pale lavender flowers. A very good grower.  On display on top row of Hosta Display Garden, near granite bench. Difficult to believe for us but in 2023 and 2024 the flood waters went over the top of the bench. As a result, we are still trying to find some our hostas including Sea Drift which was right next to a much larger, Green Piecrust. In Spring 2025, the search will begin.
