Florence Shaw/Paul Aden 1978. ‘Blue Velvet’  X  ‘Blue Vision’  A medium-sized hosta that makes a very blue presentation in the spring, then darkens to blue-green mid-summer depending upon moisture level and sunlight. The leaves are rounded, heavily textured, cupped. The scapes carry near white flowers that rise above the leaves by 8-10″. Slow to start the first couple years after planting but then it becomes an attention-getter. We are sold out for 2022.
