Introduced by Rick Sawyer, Fernwood, Montville, Maine. A Piedmont Gold seedling. A medium to large hosta, large gold leaves, piecrusted,  deep veins. Forms a big clump with layered, horizontal leaves. Scapes have white flowers. I bought Jimmy Crack Corn the first time I met Rick. I was new to hostas and he told me to be sure I had Piedmont Gold too because it had so many good traits. So true. Limited availability of JCC at Vermont Flower Farm. No mail order on this one.
