Hosta Independence

Walters Gardens 2001. A ‘Revolution’ sport. ‘Independence’ is the reverse of ‘Revolution”. Dark green, heart-shaped leaves w/wide creamy white margins. Green speckles appear irregularly. 22″ tall scapes of lavender flowers. We have seen changes in color in both of these hostas and as such have chosen not to sell them. Some of the Revolution have changed color to a very dark green throughout the leaf, not any white in some. Independence has lost the white edge in some, gained interior white shading in others.  Specimens are available for viewing in our display garden.
