Zillis 1999. A Whirlwind sport. Wide, dark green center with a chartreuse edge. The leaves are heart-shaped and ribbed. The is a vigorous grower. I picked up one plant a couple years ago and have never had enough to sell yet despite splitting it each year…and hearing lots of people ask for it. The more interesting thing to me is we have grown Whirlwind since it was first available thirty years ago. We can’t tell how many pots we have sold but it’s always been a challenge keeping a good supply of that plant. There are over  20 registered sports from Whirlwind and as long as we have been growing our specimen plant (a beauty now!) we have never found a single sport.
