Registered in 2014 by Olga Petryszyn as a cross between Manhattan X Golden Gate.  The name is ever so fitting! An extra large, solid golden yellow hosta, that welcomes us to spring as a chartreuse yellow and then turns more gold as summer progresses. The leaves are large, puckered, and form a vase-shaped plant, 30″ tall by 3 feet wide with 36″ scapes that carry pale lavender flowers in July here in Vermont.  The image is courtesy of Walters Gardens, Zeeland, Michigan, one of our suppliers.
