Hosta Cherry Berry
Bill & Eleanor Lachman 1991. Narrow, lance-shaped leaves with dark green margins streaking into creamy white centers. Red leaf petioles and 24″ tall red scapes with purple flowers. The name Cherry Berry is said to have originated from the color of the seed pods in the fall. One of the Cherry Berry sports is Maraschino Cherry which we grow in limited numbers. Cherry Berry’s thin, creamy white leaf center makes it susceptible to insects, slugs and snails.
