Vic Santa Lucia 1989. A ‘Gold Regal’ sport. Medium hosta with upright, chartreuse-gold leaves with blue-green centers that forms a 3-foot clump. 28″ tall scapes with lavender flowers. We have seen occasional leaf reversion to ‘Gold Regal’ occur.  The hosta is named after the first president of the American Hosta Society founded in 1968.    Withdrawn from sales during 2024 flood. Available again in August 2025.
