Blaney 1998. 32″ tall scapes. 5″ blooms, black raspberry with a small green throat. Dormant. Tetraploid. Mid-Season bloomer on into the third week of August here.  There are two large clumps in the daylily display garden for viewing and there’s a new row in 2021 in the lower propagation field near the hosta display garden. Take a look and see what you will have in a couple years as these are very good growers. One time Gail planted this in a display for a client with daylily Mighty Chestnut right beside it. It is a spectacular match! Give that combination some thought.
