Stamile 1991. 28″ to 32″ tall scapes. 5″ bright chartreuse-yellow, heavily ruffled petals and green throat. Plentiful blooms and lots of substance so strong in heavy rains. There is a row in the lower propagation field on the Marshfield village side of the garden by the hostas. Walk down and take a look at how special this plant is at maturity. We don’t keep a total of plants by variety sold over the years but this one is at the top of the list. Begins to bloom mid-July here.
