Daylily Muirgen

Nick Barth 2003. 32″ tall scapes, 7″ bloom size, bright pink with white midribs and green throat. 15 buds. 3 branches. Dormant. Tetraploid. This is another late bloomer which is often sought after, especially around northern New England where climate change has extended fall gardening through September and often into October. And if you are wondering about the name Muirgen like I was, try this:  “Muirgen means “born of the sea” in Irish”.
