Daylily Lady Lucille

This is the unregistered Oakes daylily not the 2012 registration by Warrell.  Oakes Lady Lucille is 24″-26″ tall with 6″ intense deep red-orange blooms. The petals are darker orange than the sepals with the deeper orange from the throat on out, and a yellow midrib. Bloom begins in mid-August so consider it one of your late bloomers. It will bloom well into September with sufficient water.

Here’s Warrell’s information from the American Daylily Society site. If you wish to see a picture for comparison go to https://www.daylilydatabase.org/
