Harris and Benz 1985. 36″ tall scapes. Large, 7″ lemon yellow blooms with green throats on thick scapes. Early to mid-season bloom and it reblooms. Semi-evergreen. Tetraploid.  Everything about this is “big” including the root system which takes a good knife to split. Unlike many similarly sized blooms, hard rains and wind will brown the bloom edges here. ????. Not sure why this happens.  Very limited availability in 2024. Come early.
