Harris and Benz 1985. 36″ tall scapes. Large, 7″ lemon yellow blooms with green throats on thick scapes. Early to mid-season bloom and it reblooms. Semi-evergreen. Tetraploid.  Everything about this is “big” including the root system which takes a good knife to split. Unlike many similarly sized blooms, hard rains and wind will brown the bloom edges here. ????. Not sure why this happens. Limited availability.
