Griesbach-Hardy 1972. 30″ tall scapes, 6″ blooms, purple-red self with a green throat. Mid-season bloomer. a Dormant, Tetraploid. The petals are not heavy with substance like you might expect with many that Geiesbach  helped with but the  scape height places the blooms where you are quick to see them.
