“Charles Johnston (Gates-L., 1981) height 24 inches (61 cm), bloom 6 inches (15 cm), season EM, Rebloom, Semi-Evergreen, Tetraploid, Fragrant,  Cherry red self with green throat. Awards: AM 1988; HM 1985; JC 1982; PC 1985″
