Considering mixing with other reds e.g., Ruby Throat, Funny Valentine, Crimson Shadows, Cherokee Star, Downy Woodpecker, Scarlet Orbit, Red Volunteer, Sun Dried Tomatoes, on and on. George once read that of the 500,000 daylilies grown world-wide (100,000 is latest number of daylilies registered with the American Daylily Society), approximately 90,000 are reds. Sometime soon we may even build separate display gardens at the farm by color.
