This is the Olallie Autumn Gold not the Sutton Autumn Gold from 1952 that is an Evergreen and blooms earlier. Ollalie’s is a strong producer and starts to bloom in the early fall here just before Daylily Butterscotch Harvest sets buds. It has a high bud count and 4.5″ blooms for weeks when other daylilies have passed. Too bad that every daylily didn’t bloom like this.  30″ flower scapes. Dormant. Diploid. Clumps quickly and divides easily.
