Trimmer 1995. Dormant. Tetraploid. 34″ scape with 6″ creamy, very pale, soft yellow blooms. Ruffled petals with a deeper yellow edge. A tall, strong grower for late summer, mid to back of the border. As information about white daylilies, hybridizer Stuart Kendig has classified August Frost as  “Group 4. Near white but with an obvious color shade when viewed from near.”  There is a limited availability, a few potted, a few to be garden dug, limited to one per person through 2026. $24/plant.
