Elaine Strutt (Coe, 1969) Height 38 inches tall, bloom 4 inches, season MLa, Semi-Evergreen, Tetraploid. Pink self. 20 years ago this dayliliy was always in demand. Since that time more of the older pinks have gained popularity too inc.  Princeton Silky, Corryton Pink, Late Pink, Cedar Waxwing, Chorus Line, on and on. For many gardeners, the color pink is an eye of the beholder color in that it can be pink, peach, apricot, or shades of several of these colors.  The benefit of Elaine Strutt is that it’s tall and works well in the middle to back of the garden and even shows nicely from a distance.
