Daylily Citrina Altissima
Registered by Stout in 1943. A species, nocturnal bloomer, fragrant. Lots of light yellow, upward facing trumpet shaped blooms on +5 foot scapes. Outstanding for a naturalized look. Found in SW China. You can view rows of C. altissima as well as C.vespertina in the propagation field adjacent to the hosta display garden. A late bloomer and vigorous grower. Heavy in our pots so ask for help getting your cart up the hill.
