Francis Allison 1931. Lactiflora group. Late bloomer that is rose-shaped. Pale pastel pink with tiny red flecks on center petals. Petals lighten to almost white as blooms open. Almost no fragrance but the durable blooms remain open 7-10 days so they are in demand for weddings and receptions. The APS Registry says they are the same coloring as Peony Solange but a little more pink than that one which so far we have not seen or grown. We grew Nick Shaylor two years ago and it all sold out. The current availability was potted last October so will be ready for sale July 2023.
