Peony Coral Charm
Wissing 1965. A semi-double, cup-shaped bloom. Starts bright coral and fades to a soft coral. A 1986 American Peony Society Gold Medal winner. 40″ tall. Give this peony 5 years and the scapes will amaze you. At that age, the plant will put up significant scapes but the bloom time will vary on each. This will provide a mass of blooms in different stages of opening and aging so there will be an interesting range of color at the same time. It almost looks as if you have planted different peonies side by side but it’s really your single mature plant. Enjoy! These sell out almost every year.
