Hydrangea Pinky Winky
A Paniculata type. One of the larger hydrangeas with some of the thickest, strongest stems. Once mature, 14″-16″ elongated, conical blooms are typical. Blooms start out white, then turn pink. Very hardy! There’s an example at a house on Route 2 here in Marshfield village. Road salt, deep snow from the road and the house, ice/water from the house and the road and they still look great each summer. 6 feet by 8 feet, tall and wide. Zone 3 comfortably. No mail order on hydrangeas. Photo courtesy of Proven Winners.
