Jim Schwarz 1997. Large, 5 foot wide clumps at maturity. Blue-green centers and wide yellow margins. Heavily corrugated, puckered, thick round leaves, slug resistant. 32″-34″ tall scapes with light lavender flowers. We were growing an attention-getting Garden Treasure sport named Spinach Souffle in our display garden that I purchased at the end of Q&Z. I couldn’t find SS after last year’s floods but I am determined to find it come spring 2024.  As for Garden Treasure there is a very limited number of pots available for 2024. Get it while you can! No Mail order. $24 a pot at the farm until it’s gone.
