Walters Gardens 1987. Medium to large hosta, 30″ X 71″ (plant height and width), frosty blue-grey with a creamy white edge and five to six foot tall scapes with lavender flowers. A sport of Krossa Regal. Hosta of the Year in 2003.  I always refer to the planting at the old Norwich Inn in Norwich, Vermont where these were planted on either side of a wide walkway up to the entrance porch and doors. Each year the clumps got bigger with more and taller scapes. They added so much to the building’s architecture!! Although the flowers are sterile with this one, hummingbirds are infatuated with Regal Splendor, Krossa Regal, Tenryu, and Tall Boy.
