Mildred Seaver 1981. Small hosta, lanceolate-shaped, darker but dull green, wavy margin, 32″ red-streaked scapes with purple flowers. A ‘Sea Sprite’ seedling. This is a vigorous grower and that applies to the scapes, seed pods and seed production. It’s nice to have such abundant fall blooms in a bright purple….but….the seed production and high germination rate can result in lots of new plants. Sorry! No longer available in 2023. This was one of the hostas that went down the river in the July floods.
