Fumio Maekawa 1935/AHS 1993. A species from Korea. Many leaf variations noted. One of the smallest hostas with dull green leaves on top, shiny underneath. Grows quickly forming small mounds with 10″ tall scapes and lavender blooms. No special care or placement needed. The photo here was taken by Bob Axmear who helped me build my first website +20 years ago. I miss him a great deal. One of the nicest, most generous people going!
