Darrow. Olallie Daylilies, Newfane, Vermont. Unregistered. No date of introduction. 32″-34″ tall scapes. 5″ soft, canary-yellow blooms, excellent bud and branching counts. Dormant. Just divided these and lined them out again but a dozen or so 6-quart pots are ready for spring sales. Even with hot weather, they begin to bloom during late August and on through September. These are always popular, perhaps because there is a Vermont ski area by the same name. Elevation of the mountain is 3640 feet vs scape height of daylily of 34″.
