L. Gates 1984. 22″ tall scapes. 5.5″ blooms, red with yellow-chartreuse throat. Evergreen. Tetraploid. Fragrant. Is a rebloomer. Starts blooming mid-July and continues on. Two awards from the American Hemerocallis Society in 1987 and 1991. Lady Scarlet, an unregistered daylily, looks very similar.
