Benz 1991. 36″-38″ tall scapes with lots of buds. 5″ blooms, recurved, ruffled ruby red with yellow ring and green throat. Dormant. Tetraploid. Fragrant. Nocturnal. Mid-season on into Late Season bloomer. The height makes it stand out when planted in the middle to back of your garden. Awarded an Honorable Mention in 2000 by the American Hemerocallis Society.
