Rasmussen 1998. 28″ tall scapes.  6″ blooms, deep lavender with a heavy gold edge and green to yellow throat. Blooms mid-season. Semi-Evergreen. Tetraploid. 18 buds, 4 branches. Fragrant. An award winner. This one sold out during the first half of the 2023 season and then in July the rains began and our fields were under 21 feet of water. Towards the end of the summer, we took what we had left and lined them out on higher ground. It was growing nicely and people were asking for it in numbers that made no sense. Then to the day in 2024, it flooded again….2d year in a row. When the water dropped a few days later,  George divided all the plants as small as he could in hopes that 1.) no floods in 2025 and 2.) we have enough Judy Judy to make people happy. We’ll see.
