Davidson 1975. 34″-36″ tall scapes. 6″ copper-gold bloom with a mahogany center, gold inner throat. Midseason bloomer.  A vigorous grower. An outstanding variety for something “old” but different. Would work well combined with other daylilies to cover a bank to avoid mowing. This is a very strong grower and can tolerate wind, rain, small children and big dogs. Consider dividing by year 4-5 to keep scape and bloom production up.
