Durio 1974. 6″ Semi-Evergreen, deep velvety red blooms with yellow-green throat. Excellent color, 28″-32″ tall by year 3, and good production of more scapes. Mid-season to late-season bloom. If you ever get to Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay, Maine, they have a very nice planting not far from the bridge by the interior pond. Hard to miss.
