Daylily Elizabeth Davis
Nick Barth 1997. 28″-30″ tall, thick scapes with 8″ bloom. Dark red with a yellow green throat. Dormant. Tetraploid. Mid to late season. Excellent producer. Is a cross between Charles Johnston (Gates 1981) and Barth’s Linda O’Connell (Nick Barth 1996) which we also grow. You can get an idea of the “red” by knowing Charles Johnston and Red Volunteer, both of which are heritage plants that were used in the hybridizing. We like them all! You will be surprised how fast this daylily clumps up!!
