Solberg ’91. A Gold Regal sport. Large, light gold leaves, 1/2″ chartreuse green margin. Medium lavender flowers. Named after Alex Summers dog. The photo we have used here is the property of Carol Brashear,  a very important contributor to the Hosta Library. Come spring 2022 we’ll get a picture of our specimen and at the same time divide off some of this giant plant. It was growing at our house before we moved to Route 2. Now the specimen is 6 feet across and competes well with its neighbors, Empress Wu and Big John. If you get a chance to visit us, walk down to the display garden and check things out.
